Under the central theme of “Everything for that moment”, Rosenbauer presents the entire range of state-of-the-art firefighting technology at Interschutz on 1–6 June 2026. Across an area of more than 3,700 m² with over 600 exhibits and around 300 stand personnel from all over the world, the company showcases vehicles and equipment, digital solutions, robotics and components, plus service and training expertise.
The trade show appearance is structured according to the operational realities of fire departments: Rosenbauer demonstrates its expertise as a systems provider in the four central topic areas of Wildfire, Municipal, Industry and Airport. Action areas, live demos and guided tours provide an immersive product experience. A future topics Xchange offers opportunities for attendees to discuss the latest trends and technologies with experts. Customers are on site to provide testimonials and report on their real-world experiences with Rosenbauer products.
At an opening press conference at Rosenbauer’s booth on 31 May, the Executive Board gave an overview of the company’s strategic direction and growth areas and outlined the highlights and new products of its trade show appearance.
“INTERSCHUTZ is the most important international meeting place for the firefighting industry. For Rosenbauer, it is the central stage on which we can showcase what has made us stand out for 160 years: reliability, innovation and a consistent focus on customers. As the largest exhibitor at the trade show, we are presenting our full range of services with which we are driving forward the transformation of firefighting technology in a targeted way,” said Robert Ottel, CEO of Rosenbauer International AG.
“With our latest product developments, we are once again demonstrating that we know exactly what fire departments need. We think from the perspective of users and work with them to develop customised system solutions that fit together seamlessly. Our innovations are field-tested and have already proven their value in real-world operational environments,” said Andreas Zeller, Chief Sales Officer at Rosenbauer International AG.
A wide range of product innovations presented
The highlight of the press conference was the presentation of the L32A-XS electric aerial ladder on MAN’s new eTGM chassis. The vehicle combines Rosenbauer’s proven aerial ladder technology with the benefits of emission-free and very quiet operation.
With a total weight of less than 16 tonnes and a rear axle load of less than 10 tonnes, the vehicle falls below the weight limits applicable to fire department access areas in Germany for the first time, and it complies with the relevant performance standard DIN EN 14043 and E DIN 14701-2 for aerial ladders in class 23/12.
Rosenbauer’s technical experts also provided insights into other product developments such as:
- The L43A-XS aerial ladder with innovative extendable ladder set technology
- The RTE LX portable battery-powered lighting system
- New products in the firefighting systems field
- The GLOROS F50 glove developed specifically for indoor firefighting
- The innovative BOROS B10 boot for wildfire operations
- The new BOROS B4 Cross boot model with lower shaft and an innovative quick-release fastener
A strong performance for fire departments of the future
In a technology talk, Rosenbauer Chief Technology Officer Thomas Biringer, MAN head of sales Martin Zaindl and Marcel Völkert from the North Rhine-Westphalia Fire Department Institute (IdF NRW) explained how the fully electric aerial ladder vehicle L32A-XS electric had been developed through close collaboration between industry and users.
The discussion highlighted the importance of direct communication between customers, Rosenbauer and chassis manufacturers in developing innovative products that meet practical requirements. The keys will be handed over at Rosenbauer’s booth at 1:30 p.m. on 1 June 2026.
