ReCoila is committed to Australian manufacturing and produces the highest-quality hose reels for sale across Australia, and for export worldwide. Firefighting reels are its specialty, with a fully customisable range designed in tandem with the industry.
The company is purely focused on the design, manufacture and fabrication of hose reels, allowing it to focus and refine its products to meet the customer’s specific expectations.
ReCoila is proud to be Australian-owned and manufactures hose reels locally at its modern facility in Kings Park, New South Wales. Its modern 2000 m² manufacturing facility includes state-of-the-art engineering and fabrication equipment, complemented by a complete in-house abrasive blasting and powder coating line that sets it apart as Australia’s premier hose and cable reel manufacturer.
ReCoila’s range of firefighting reels is designed for absolute reliability and strength. It has been supplying high-quality hose reels to fire and emergency services for many years and has developed and refined a platform of reels that are strong, safe and ergonomically sound.
This platform of reels allows flexibility that can be adapted to fit within a specific build, with materials options such as 316 stainless steel, aluminium or combinations to provide extended life or resistance to corrosion and weight reduction.
Many features have been developed in consultation with fire and emergency services to ensure ReCoila’s reels are fit for purpose and deliver absolute reliability under the most challenging conditions.
Designed for performance and operator comfort
ReCoila’s Managing Director Michael Pawson explains that ergonomics and operator comfort are critical parts of its design process.
He said: “We offer a range of optional features such as swivelling bases, pop-out roller guides and electric clutches that all deliver less musculoskeletal strain for the user when handling large, heavy hoses.”
“With workplace health and safety being at the forefront of many organisations these days, these features have been well received by our customers, and we continue to look for ways to design safer, more effective hose reels for our fire and emergency services partners.”
Motor options include electric, pneumatic and hydraulic, as well as hand crank, with add-ons like friction brakes that allow the operator to add or remove drag as needed.
He added: “Our DFT Series reel is one of the most popular in the range.
“This is a compact, lightweight and adaptable reel that comes in a wide range of capacities to suit the commonly used 19mm, 25mm, 32mm and 38mm ID hoses. We also offer a stainless steel T Series reel that is popular for larger 50mm ID hoses, although most reels in our range can be customised to suit any kind of special applications, larger ID hoses or longer lengths.
“The ReCoila hose reel platform has been developed to be infinitely customisable, and we welcome the opportunity to create the perfect solution for fire and emergency services organisations both locally and abroad.”
ReCoila is exhibiting at Interschutz and will be co-located with Trident Emergency Products in Hall 27, Stand J65.
