Hytrans has launched two world premieres at Interschutz 2026.
The company has unveiled the new SuperFlood 550 and electric PowerPack as part of its expanding portfolio of high-volume mobile water transport solutions.
It said the innovations strengthen its position as a global leader in advanced mobile water transport systems while reinforcing its commitment to innovation, reliability and sustainable performance in large-scale disaster response.
New standard for flood control
The new SuperFlood 550 has been developed specifically for the high-volume flood management sector and delivers a capacity of 150,000 litres per minute.
Designed to address the increasing scale and severity of flood events worldwide, the system enables emergency response teams to manage extreme water volumes during major incidents.
Hytrans said the SuperFlood 550 combines decades of expertise in engine technology, hydraulics and mobile water transport systems to improve operational capacity, deployment speed and efficiency during large-scale flood scenarios.
The system is powered by a Volvo Penta D16 off-road industrial engine and represents the latest development in a 25-year partnership between Hytrans and Volvo Penta.
The companies said the collaboration combines advanced mobile water transport technology with proven engine performance, reliability and efficiency.
Sustainable hose recovery
Alongside the SuperFlood 550, Hytrans has launched the electric PowerPack for independent hose layer containers fitted with a Hose Recovery Unit.
The electric alternative replaces traditional power solutions and significantly reduces noise and emissions during hose recovery operations.
Benefits include lower noise levels to improve communication and reduce operator fatigue, reduced emissions to support environmental objectives and compliance, and improved operational awareness to enhance safety during deployment.
Supporting global disaster response
Hytrans systems are currently used in more than 60 countries, supported by over 60 years of engineering expertise and more than 35 years of experience in mobile water transport systems.
The company provides support ranging from system design and training to maintenance and lifecycle services, helping organisations prepare for critical emergency situations while minimising the impact of disasters.
