KASK, the Italian leader in advanced head protection systems, will take part in Interschutz. At the exhibition, KASK will present its latest developments for rescue professionals, with a particular focus on the Quantum series, the company’s helmet designed for demanding operational environments, including wildland firefighting, technical and mountain rescue and water rescue. Visitors will be able to explore the full range of KASK rescue solutions and integrated accessory systems at stand 15/G06 in Hall 15. The company will showcase how its design approach combines protection, ergonomics and adaptability for modern emergency operations.
A helmet designed for modern rescue operations
Developed specifically for external emergency response teams, the Quantum helmet reflects KASK’s commitment to providing high-performance equipment capable of meeting the increasingly complex challenges faced by rescue professionals. The helmet integrates advanced materials and ergonomic engineering to deliver high levels of protection while maintaining comfort during prolonged operations. Its polycarbonate external shell offers strong resistance against impacts, heat, flames and chemicals, while the high-density EPS internal shell ensures effective absorption of impact energy. Stability and comfort are further enhanced through the Adaptive Fit system, which allows precise and quick adjustment, even when wearing gloves, ensuring a secure and personalised fit during demanding operational scenarios. Quantum is available in a closed-shell configuration or in the Cabrio version, featuring 14 ventilation openings designed to improve airflow and thermal regulation.
Certified for multiple rescue environments
The Quantum helmet has been developed to comply with key European standards covering different emergency applications. The helmet meets EN 16471 for wildland firefighting, EN 16473 for technical rescue and EN 12492 for mountaineering. For operations involving water environments, the helmet can be equipped with dedicated protection panels, enabling compliance with EN 1385 for canoeing and white-water sports, thereby extending its functionality to water rescue scenarios. This multi-certified approach reflects KASK’s objective to provide versatile protection across a wide spectrum of rescue operations, supporting professionals who often work in rapidly changing and unpredictable environments. As with all KASK helmets, Quantum undergoes internal rotational impact performance testing in accordance with the KASK Rotational Impact WG11 Test, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to advanced head protection engineering.
Expanding the Quantum integration system
At INTERSCHUTZ, KASK will present the latest developments within the Quantum integrated system, including new accessories designed to further enhance operational efficiency and protection in the field. The Quantum platform has been engineered with modularity in mind, enabling seamless compatibility with a wide range of accessories developed to support rescue professionals working in extreme conditions. The helmet features integrated slots for eye, face, hearing and weather protection systems, as well as a front attachment point for accessories such as headlamps and identification holders, ensuring maximum operational versatility. These integration capabilities allow teams to configure their equipment according to specific operational needs, while maintaining the helmet’s balance, comfort and protective performance, even in highly dynamic, high-risk and rapidly evolving emergency response scenarios.
