KASK has expanded its Quantum helmet series with the introduction of new accessories designed to enhance performance in wildland firefighting and technical rescue operations.
The latest additions build on the versatility of the Quantum range, extending the helmet’s capabilities and providing additional support for professionals operating in complex, high-risk environments.
Enhanced Eye Protection
Among the new products are the FR Goggles, developed to provide dependable eye protection in extreme operational conditions.
The goggles feature a 2 mm fire-resistant polycarbonate lens that delivers Optical Class 1 clarity while incorporating anti-fog and scratch-resistant technologies to maintain visibility during demanding incidents.
Certified to EN 166 and EN 170 Category II standards, the goggles are designed to protect users from smoke, airborne debris and environmental hazards while maintaining wearer comfort throughout prolonged operations.
ATEX Certified Lighting Solution
KASK has also introduced the new L-5 POWER helmet torch, an ATEX Zone 0/20 certified lighting solution engineered for use in hazardous environments.
Mounted using a dedicated 360° Helmet Mount, the torch can be fitted to either side of the helmet and adjusted to provide optimal visibility.
The unit delivers 180 lumens of light output, with a beam reach of up to 106 metres and a runtime of up to 30 hours, helping to ensure reliable illumination during extended rescue and firefighting operations.
The torch features a robust thermoplastic resin body designed to withstand impacts, extreme temperatures and corrosive substances.
An IP67 rating also provides protection against dust and water ingress.
Modular Rescue Solution
With the launch of the FR Goggles and L-5 POWER torch, KASK continues to strengthen the Quantum series as a complete modular solution for firefighting and rescue professionals, combining advanced protection, adaptability and ease of use in demanding operational scenarios.
