Dafo Vehicle in the US has appointed Jay Taylor from Kidde Technologies as Regional Manager for the Transit/Motorcoach area. Jay Taylor started his employment on October 1.

Taylor has worked 19 years in the fire suppression industry within the area of Transit/Motorcoach buses. Prior to working in the fire suppression industry, he worked for Nova Bus. He has a total of 43 years’ experience in the transportation business.
He has served on the American Public Transportation Association (APTA) Bus Safety Committee since 2004. He is a member of the National Fire Protection Association, California Transit Association, California Association for Coordinated Transportation, Washington State Transit Association and Texas Transit Association.
Taylor also has certifications in Hands-On Vehicle Fire/Arson Investigation and Fire Pattern Investigation from the Public Agency Training Council.
