Angus Fire has launched a campaign to support businesses looking to make the transition to fluorine-free foams.

It has created a simple three-step process to help facilities respond to new legislation and regulations surrounding the use of fluorinated chemicals.

Working with a global client base and distributor network, Angus Fire recently hosted a F3 Transition seminar to support the fire sector as it goes through this period of significant change.

Nick Barker, Commercial Director of Angus Fire, said: “The fire sector is going through major change with the global transition away from fluorinated foams to fluorine free foams. We have had numerous calls from clients asking whether their legacy fixed foam systems are compatible with the new generation of fluorine free foams.”

“In response, we organised a seminar with our channel partners from across the globe to share our insights and expertise about how we can support our customers. The event included fire testing and demonstrations and a tour around our research and development labs and fluorine free foam production facilities. Angus Fire’s deep technical expertise and world-wide reputation is trusted by global organisations operating in high hazard environments.”

“Our F3 transition campaign focuses on a Discover, Assess and Deliver strategy. We offer a full conversion pathway service, or a scalable approach suited to the needs of our customers. Among the key considerations are selecting the correct foam and assessing the existing hardware systems. We look forward to supporting our customers on their transition journey to fluorine free foams.”
