Perimeter Solutions’ most recent firefighting foam innovations include SOLBERG 3% MIL-SPEC SFFF, SOLBERG RE-HEALING Fluorine-Free 3×3 SP-100 Foam Concentrate, and SOLBERG VERSAGARD™ 1×3 Multipurpose Fluorine-Free Foam Concentrate.
SOLBERG 3% MIL-SPEC Synthetic Fluorine-Free Foam (SFFF) is the first fluorine-free firefighting foam concentrate to be added to the Department of Defense Qualified Products List (QPL). It is also the first fluorine-free foam concentrate on the QPL to be GreenScreen Certified Silver, ensuring it can be used with confidence. Specifically designed for fast knockdown and extinguishment of gasoline and Jet A fuel spill fires, as identified in MIL-PRF-32725 (I1), this fluorine-free foam concentrate is a combination of proprietary hydrocarbon surfactants and additives that deliver excellent foaming, vapor sealing, and stability. Since its market introduction, more than 100 military bases and airports have transitioned to SOLBERG 3% MIL-SPEC SFFF.
SOLBERG RE-HEALING Fluorine-Free 3×3 SP-100 Foam Concentrate is a UL-listed fluorine-free 3×3 foam concentrate that is compatible with the full range of hardware, including non-aspirated, standard sprinkler heads. This FM Approved foam features cutting-edge technology and is designed for sprinkler applications to extinguish and secure both Class B hydrocarbon and polar solvent fuel fires. SOLBERG RE-HEALING 3×3 SP-100 is fully compatible and easily proportioned with standard firefighting equipment, including in-line inductors, self-inducting nozzles, fire truck pumps, bladder tanks, pump skids, and balanced pressure systems. It works with fresh, salt, and brackish water, providing fast knockdown and extinguishing performance, along with excellent burnback resistance.
SOLBERG VERSAGARD 1×3 Multipurpose Fluorine-Free Foam Concentrate from Perimeter Solutions is the first 1×3 fluorine-free foam concentrate on the market. It is a non-persistent, siloxane-free pseudoplastic foam technology that, like SOLBERG RE-HEALING, contains no intentionally added PFAS. SOLBERG VERSAGARD 1×3 Alcohol Resistant Fluorine-Free Foam delivers exceptional firefighting performance. It is designed for plunging and gentle applications at 1% on hydrocarbon fuels and gentle applications on polar solvent fuels. Ideal for diesel fuel firefighting, this product has EN1568, LASTFIRE, and IMO approvals.
