Synaps Technology (UK) Limited – a joint venture between Evac+Chair International, the world’s Number 1 supplier and manufacturer of evacuation chairs, and the Italian technology company Synaps Technology Srl will be launched officially at Firex International 2016.
The UK-based company has been established to commercialise the SyCALL range of call points on a world-wide basis and will be led by Managing Director, Gerard Wallace. Commenting on the launch he said, “We are extremely excited to announce the launch of the company at Firex International 2016. There are currently very few independent call point manufacturers, Synaps UK will be providing a real alternative source for OEMs and the fire and security industry in general”.
Based in Trieste, Italy, Synaps Technology Srl was founded in 2003 and has a reputation for excellence. The company’s success has been founded on its strong technical background in the field of electronic and micro-electronic design. Speaking on behalf of the Italian company Massimo Defendi, Managing Director said, “This joint venture marks a significant moment for Synaps Technology Srl as for the first time we are putting our products into the market under our own name. We are proud of SyCALL and believe this partnership will give it the success it deserves.”
Newly appointed Managing Director Gerard Wallace, who has a 30 years background in the fire and security industry, said: “I am pleased to launch this joint venture predominantly due to the high-quality technology that Synaps utilises in its products.” Mark Wallace, Managing Director of Evac+Chair commented that “from both a technical and product point of view, the SyCALL range really is impressive and we are confident that the joint venture will assist EVAC+CHAIR as it diversifies into other associated market sectors.”
