Each of these areas of application places special demands on fire safety. Siemens offers customized solutions that include its Silent Extinguishing Technology for data centers, the Swing wireless fire detection system for hotels, historical buildings and museums, Ex fire detectors for explosion-hazard areas in industrial facilities, and aspirating smoke detectors (ASDs) for areas that cannot be adequately protected by conventional detectors.
