Akron Brass announces the arrival of a new all-in-one handline nozzle. The UltraJet combines the powerful punch of a true smooth bore and the widespread protection of a full NFPA fog pattern in one. Now you can have the best of both, no matter your preferred style.
The UltraJet simplifies fire ground operations with intuitive functionality, matching flows in all patterns, and the ability to change patterns without shutting down. There is no need to control pressure at the pump. Simply turn the UltraJet bumper to transition from smooth bore, to narrow fog and then wide fog while maintaining consistent water flow and pressure.
No additional training is required to get smooth bore and fog all in one. The UltraJet nozzle operates just like the standard nozzles you’ve been accustomed to using, making training straightforward and mutual aid no problem.
Capable of flowing anywhere from 118 to 297 gpm (447 to 1124 lpm), the UltraJet can hold its own on any fire ground. Need to flow foam? No problem. This nozzle can be used with CAFS and other foam applications. To reduce reaction force and fatigue on the fire-fighter, the UltraJet can be operated at pressures as low as 50 psi (3 bar). The combination of streams in one nozzle also eliminates the chance for lost or misplaced tips.
