Hochiki Middle East will showcase its latest life safety innovations at Intersec 2026 in Dubai this January, with a focus on helping consultants, contractors and facilities teams deliver robust, compliant fire strategies for complex estates across the region.

At the Hochiki stand B22 (Hall 4), visitors can see Ekho, the company’s hybrid wireless fire detection system, which has been shortlisted for the Tomorrow’s Facilities Management Fire Category Award.

Winners will be announced after March, but the nomination already reflects Ekho’s growing impact for facilities and estates teams managing complex portfolios, from hospitals and universities to hotels, heritage sites and mixed-use developments. By cutting cabling, reducing intrusive works and allowing greater flexibility in device placement, Ekho helps teams modernise systems faster, keep spaces operational and respond to tightening fire safety standards.

Ekho combines hard-wired loops with a wireless mesh to minimise cabling, speed up installation and make upgrades possible in heritage sites, retrofits and busy commercial environments.

Also on show

Alongside Ekho, Hochiki will also demonstrate: Latitude fire control panels for large, networked and multi-use sites; Marine and specialist ranges designed for harsh and high-risk environments and EN and UL-approved detection, engineered for the Middle East’s regulatory and environmental demands.

With over 100 years of fire safety expertise and manufacturing in Japan, the UK and the US, Hochiki continues to support projects across the region with reliable technology, regional technical support and training.

For more information, visit Hochiki at Intersec Dubai this January by visiting the Hochiki stand Hall 4, Stand B-22.
