Fogmaker - firebuyer.com

Fogmaker

The Fogmaker fire suppression system is a globally recognised solution designed to deliver rapid, effective fire protection for enclosed engine compartments and high-risk machinery and vehicle environments. Operating on a proven principle of high-pressure water mist, the system tackles fires at their earliest stage by cooling hot surfaces, reducing oxygen levels and blanketing fuel sources to prevent reignition. Unlike powder- or gas-based alternatives, water mist penetrates deep into confined areas and spreads evenly, ensuring comprehensive suppression across the entire protected space. Fogmaker is a self-contained, always-ready system, which means it operates independently of external power supplies and remains on standby 24 hours a day. This resilience is particularly important in sectors where downtime and system failure are not acceptable, such as heavy industry, mining, forestry, construction, buses, coaches, and electric vehicles. Its simplicity of design combined with highly reliable detection ensures that activation is immediate and automatic when a fire event is detected. A defining feature of Fogmaker is its extended discharge time. Where many suppression systems release extinguishing agents in a short burst, Fogmaker delivers a sustained mist release. This prolonged action maintains surface cooling and reduces the risk of dangerous re-ignition, giving operators and passengers crucial extra time for safe evacuation and controlled shutdown of equipment. At the same time, the fine mist uses minimal water quantities, which reduces clean-up and avoids secondary damage. The system is backed by extensive third-party certifications, including FM Approval and R107 compliance, and incorporates an environmentally responsible extinguishing agent with no PFAS content. This combination of performance, safety, and sustainability has led to Fogmaker being installed in tens of thousands of machines and vehicles worldwide. With decades of field-proven reliability and ongoing innovation, Fogmaker has established itself as a trusted safeguard for critical assets, operations, and — most importantly — human life.

MEIKO TopClean D - Fire Buyer

MEIKO TopClean D

The TopClean D packs a punch. One cleaning cycle can clean up to 12 BA masks, 4 compressed air bottles or 4 full self-contained breathing apparatuses in just 4 to 16 minutes. The reversing wash system reliably removes combustion residues. It saves valuable time compared to manual cleaning and is gentler on the equipment. All that while consuming just 5.8 L water per rack! The TopClean D PPE decon machine offers enhanced protection for SCBA technicians: Reversing wash pipes without spray shadows are the best way to remove soot – despite its hydrophobic properties. MEIKO uses its patented heads for BA masks to prevent contamination from getting inside the masks during cleaning – a major plus over other commerical washing methods. Save water, energy and time – all while boosting safety in the SCBA workshop! The TopClean D lets you clean self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) sets without cylinders. The patented compressed air connection with distributor prevents moisture from getting into the regulator. The large universal rack is a real space-saver. It can hold 4 complete SCBA sets or 12 BA masks. A unique feature of this system is that all the BA masks are clamped onto plastic heads, which prevents contamination from getting inside the masks. Advantages: Fast and powerful – less time-consuming, less water consumption and gentler on materials than the manual process Safe – increased protection against pathogens, toxic fine dusts, and combustion residues, plus no skin contact with cleaning chemicals Large and flexible – 4 complete self-contained breathing apparatuses or 12 BA masks stretched on plastic heads that prevent contamination inside the mask Patented – the compressed air connection prevents moisture from entering regulators Economical – intelligent heat recovery reduces energy consumption and ensures a pleasant indoor climate

ExxonMobil Baton Rouge Industrial Pumper - Fire Buyer

ExxonMobil Baton Rouge Industrial Pumper

US Fire Apparatus has built custom industrial pumpers, including two mirror-image units for ExxonMobil featuring a 5,500 GPM pump and a 1,000-gallon foam tank. These specialized trucks are part of the company’s delivery of heavy-duty fire apparatus for large industrial clients. What are these trucks? Industrial Pumpers: These are heavy-duty fire trucks designed for industrial applications, such as oil refineries and chemical plants, where large volumes of water and foam are needed to control fires.  Mirror Builds: The three pumpers for ExxonMobil were built as “mirror builds,” meaning they are identical but arranged as reflections of each other, likely for optimal placement and operation at the ExxonMobil facility. Key Features:  High-Volume Pumping: The US Fire 5,500 GPM (gallons per minute) pump allows for a high volume of water to be discharged, crucial for large industrial fires. Foam Tank: Each truck includes a 1,000-gallon foam tank, a necessary component for fighting flammable liquid fires. Dual Controls: The trucks feature controls in both the cab and the rear, offering flexibility for the operators during an incident. Soundproofed Interior: This feature ensures clear communication between the pump operator and other personnel, even when the pumps are running at high capacity. Heavy-Duty Chassis: A robust, custom US Fire Apparatus chassis ensures durability and reliability for demanding industrial environments.

Solberg SPARTAN

SOLBERG SPARTAN™ 1% Fluorine-Free Class A/B Foam Concentrate was designed to give firefighters a tactical advantage to achieve total fire suppression on structure, wildland, vehicle, gasoline, and dumpster fires. SOLBERG SPARTAN 1% provides: Efficiency: Rapid deployment and decisive knockdowns for quick suppression on 99% of fires. Excellence: The benchmark in Class A/B foam, delivering great performance and tactical efficiency to redefine fire suppression. Firefighter Safety: Tactical suppression power with a fluorine-free foam solution that contains no intentionally added PFAS, reducing firefighter exposure and injuries, limiting flashover, and keeping crews ahead of fast-changing conditions. Tactical Advantage: Rapid knockdowns, sustained control, and dominance in the toughest conditions. Conservation: Dramatically cuts water use and residual property damage. While water takes nearly four minutes to cool a fire from 1,000°F to 212°F adding foam does it in less than half the time. It also cuts water demand by 40%, making every drop count, extending tactical endurance, and reducing strain on critical resources—allowing crews to operate more efficiently. SOLBERG SPARTAN provides cooling and fire suppression power, shielding structures from heat and flame. When conditions are bad, SOLBERG SPARTAN delivers. It is compatible with conventional firefighting equipment, such as inline eductors, self-inducting nozzles, low-expansion non-air aspirating and air aspirating nozzles, monitors, medium-expansion foam devices, and compressed air foam systems (CAFS).
