Xtralis was presented the award at the IFSEC & FIREX Awards gala, a celebration of the best product and solution innovations in the security and fire markets. ECO Ex, a gas detector module for use with VESDA smoke detection system in Class I Division 2 classified hazardous locations, was selected by an independent, blue-chip panel of judges over three other finalists. Each VESDA ECO Ex gas detector can house up to two gas sensors, and additional detectors can be added easily to the VESDA pipe network to monitor more gases if required.
