Perimeter Solutions’ ground-applied long-term retardant solutions are valuable fire management tools that can help stop wildfire in its tracks. PHOS-CHEK FORTIFY can be applied to vegetation and other fuels prior to the start of wildfire season and can help prevent the start of wildfires by making these fuels non-flammable, hardening the vegetation against fire risk. The retardant remains effective even after a significant rain event.
PHOS-CHEK fire retardants are fully qualified by the USDA Forest Service under specification 5100-304c.
