Kentec Electronics is one of the world’s leading life safety solutions manufacturers of conventional, analogue addressable fire detection and extinguishant control panels. Its custom build service utilises its expertise in Control Panel technology and UK-based manufacturing and R&D capabilities to design and build high-quality life safety systems for a broad range of challenging projects, from historic buildings to luxury yachts. 

Founded in 1985, Kentec is an end-to-end manufacturer, employing 240 members of staff in its UK production facility, head office and R&D departments. Its international sales team spans Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East, providing Kentec’s global customers with access to its award-winning fire control panel systems, supported by in-country expertise in fire safety regulations and protocols. Kentec provides technical support specified to the local standards and customer requirements in more than 90 countries worldwide. 

In recent years, Kentec’s life safety portfolio has expanded to include systems sales that include its wireless Ekho fire detection system, alongside Kentec’s renowned Syncro and award-winning Tatkis fire panels (available in 32 languages) to provide easy-to-install, highly reliable and convenient life safety solutions.  

Launched in 2019, the Kentec Installation Partner (KIP) programme provides registered installers with dedicated training and a suite of resources. Now with more than 170 companies registered, across 15 countries, it is a key part of Kentec’s commitment to raising standards and professionalism, and ultimately ensuring that every Kentec installation is optimised for maximum safety and user convenience.
