DeKalb County, Atlanta was struck by two fires on the 21st September, and fire officials in the area are blaming lightening for them.
The fires were reported in the late evening after a storm rolled through the 4600 block of Garden Hills Drive and the 5000 block of Southland Drive.
Both fires were brought under control soon after being reported by fire crews, however the damage was sufficient enough to displace residents.
At present, it’s still unclear as to how many people were forced out of their homes at the Garden Hills Drive location, but two adults were reported as displaced from their home on Southland Drive.
