Infographics announced that Staffordshire Fire and Rescue is the latest FRS to go live with the FireWatch Cloud – a fully-managed service based on the Microsoft Azure platform. The migration to the FireWatch Cloud solution provides a resilient architecture, flexible access to the FireWatch integrated fire service management platform from remote locations, and includes software upgrade services and other benefits.

The transition from our ‘on premises’ system to the FireWatch Azure Cloud-based hosting solution is a significant step for the Service where our vision is to have truly joined up systems creating efficient and effective use of data across the organisation.”

The complementary FireWatch App for iOS and Android is also now being rolled out to Staffordshire users, further enhancing and modernising the user experience. Expanded use of multiple integrated FireWatch functional modules and the live Capita Vision interface are now planned for rollout to further deliver a connected User Experience and bring together the data, systems and processes across the FRS.”
Multiple other UK Fire & Rescue Services have already moved to the FireWatch Cloud over the past year, and there are multiple new Cloud deployments in the pipeline for the coming months. Additional options in the latest software releases include a Microsoft Teams app and integration, Azure AD and Office 365 integrations for fire service management solutions – aimed at empowering FRS professionals to execute tasks and workflows directly from their core productivity systems and location of choice.
