Kronenburg Crash Truck CT009

The CT009 is build as fully self-supporting construction made of glass-fibre reinforced polyester. The cabin supplies an optimal view thanks to the big glass surfaces. The tank can carry 12000 litres of water plus 1500 litres of foam, but other combinations are possible. Normally the engine cover is a one piece element, but for the CT009 we developed a two-piece cover on each side. This makes small checks as well as regular maintenance an easy job.

The new crash tender is built on a specially developed KME 6×6 chassis which results in a high manoeuvrability on the road as well as off-road. The crash-truck has a lower centre of gravity and thereby an even more steady road ability. Besides the 6×6 crash tender a 4×4 configuration is already available, while an 8×8 is in development.
