Innovative electronic security and fire products manufacturer, Elmdene International Limited – a subsidiary of Potter Signal, LLC – has announced the appointment of Hugh Devereux as its new Technical Director to further strengthen the company’s product development process.
Hugh, who joined Elmdene in June, brings a wealth of experience to the position across product management, fast-track product development and product introduction to manufacturing. Significantly, he has spent the majority of his working life in the security sector, Government organisations and major manufacturing concerns. Most recently, Hugh was the Director of Product Management at AD Group, and its subsidiary Dedicated Micros, where for the past two years he was tasked with growing the mobile CCTV business.
As Elmdene’s Technical Director, Hugh will be responsible, primarily, for the company’s large engineering team, driving forward all aspects of product innovation and development. A key task will be ensuring that the resulting solutions meet the operational requirements and high standards demanded by Elmdene’s expanding distributor, installer and end-user customer base.
