Booths supermarket warehouse in Chorley, UK gutted by fire

A Booths supermarket warehouse has been completely gutted after a fire spread from the first floor to the roof of the building.
Around 50 firefighters tackled the blaze, which was located at Brindle Mill in Bournes Row, which is near Chorley in Lancashire, with the fire breaking out at 10:00 on the 31st January.
Every staff member was successfully evacuated from the industrial estate site, which operates as a maintenance centre for equipment that is used by the supermarket chain.
No-one was injured in the fire, while residents and businesses close by were advised to close their windows.
A spokeswoman for Booths said: “Brindle Mill is the works department of Booths and service and supply to Booths stores are unaffected by this incident.”
